Sylvania's OptiClip eco-friendly luminaire: a new generation improved in every way

In a constant desire to improve its products, the renowned lighting specialist is now presenting a new generation that pushes the limits of performance.

Greater efficiency and optimized visual comfort

Combining high luminous efficacy (up to 142 lm/W vs. 126 lm/W previously), a low glare index (UGR<16 in 600 x 600 mm dimensions; UGR<19 in 1200 x 300 mm version) as well as luminance < 1000 Cd/m² at 65°, the new generation of OptiClip thus meets the requirements of standard EN 12464-1 on the lighting of workstations with screens.

Available in two color temperatures (3000 and 4000K) with a CRI>80, it offers very good chromatic homogeneity (SDCM<3), which makes it ideal for lighting offices and classrooms.

Even more aesthetic and still 100% customizable

Manufactured, for the majority of its references, by the Sylvania factory in Saint-Etienne, the new generation of OptiClip luminaires displays a refined design which blends into the interior architecture of the buildings.

Now also available in a black finish, in addition to white, the range is 100% customizable to meet all the projects of architects and lighting designers while adapting to:

• installation constraints: types of supports and connections, custom dimensions, sound and thermal insulation, etc.
• finishes: customizable RAL and gloss,
• optical performances: luminous flux, luminous efficacy, photometry, spectral quality (Ra, TM-30-15, etc.).

Enriched with multi-power models that not only allow installers to adapt to more sites but also distributors to optimize their stock management with a single model replacing the equivalent of 2 or 3, the OptiClip range from Sylvania is available with lighting management in a DALI dimmable version compatible with push button and SylSmart Connected (with or without integrated sensor).

More eco-responsible than ever

Recognized on the market for its innovative design, the OptiClip is equipped with two removable LED modules clipped flat onto the surface of the luminaire and connected to the driver by a simple Plug and Play connection. This feature makes it an eco-responsible lighting solution. Indeed, in the event of a malfunction:

• only defective LED modules or drivers are changed (the frame is kept), thus contributing significantly to waste reduction,
• The replacement of LED modules or drivers is carried out with disconcerting simplicity, which considerably reduces maintenance and upkeep costs.

Added to this is a lifespan that increases from 60.000 to 100.000 hours, coupled with a 5-year warranty, making Sylvania's OptiClip a range of luminaires that combines respect for the environment, energy performance and reduced maintenance costs. These are all criteria that are increasingly taken into account by operators when equipping the commercial buildings and educational establishments of today and tomorrow.
