Novella by Sylvania: a new range of ultra-resistant and high-performance portholes suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications

Although they share the common goal of energy efficiency, interior lighting addresses very different challenges than exterior lighting. One must guarantee optimal visual comfort for the occupants of a site (office, industrial, commercial, residential, multi-family housing), while the other must secure the premises while offering high resistance to vandalism.

As a recognized lighting specialist, Sylvania meets the needs of both applications with its new Novella range of LED bulkhead lights. Ultra-resistant and high-performing in every aspect, it provides a particularly durable and versatile solution for entrances, corridors, and outdoor areas.

Developed for both indoor and outdoor use, Sylvania's Novella surface-mounted portholes have excellent weather resistance (IP66) and impact resistance (IK10) thanks to their design with vandal-resistant screws and the option to add a protective visor.

Available in white or black to blend discreetly into any environment, they come in two diameters distinguished by their luminous efficacy, their CRI >80, and their dual color temperature (3000K/4000K) selectable during surface mounting:

220 mm with an adjustable luminous flux of 720 to 1550 lm and an efficiency of up to 138 lm/W,
300 mm which allows reaching up to 2800 lm and an efficiency of up to 147 lm/W.

Easy and quick to install thanks to the Lilo repeatable connector, the new Novella range of portholes is available in the following versions:

Multi-power, three-position control with adjustable flow via integrated switch.
DALI compatible push button,
with or without configurable MW (microwave) presence detector to optimize energy consumption or adapt to use (corridor function, timer, extinction warning, daylight consideration).

An MW Corridor sensor kit is also available as an additional accessory.
