According to Alexandra Moncorgé, director of the Eurobois trade fair: “This 2026 edition of Eurobois confirmed the industry's ability to unite around concrete solutions and shared visions. For four days, the trade fair was a place for exchange, demonstrations, and knowledge sharing, reflecting the diversity and dynamism of the wood industry. Eurobois is fully playing its role as a platform for convergence, serving professionals, innovation, and the future of the sector.”
A sector in motion, united around major common challenges
Through its three main sectors — Transform, Build and Design — the trade fair highlighted the full diversity of professions, uses and expertise in the wood industry.
Transform: industrial and technological performance at the service of the timber industry
Eurobois showcased solutions dedicated to the primary and secondary processing of wood: machinery, equipment, automation, tooling, and industrial processes. Exhibitors and demonstrations, conducted under real-world conditions, illustrated the increasing power of technologies that enhance precision, productivity, and safety, confirming the central role of innovation in the evolution of workshops and production sites.
Build: at the heart of the challenges
This edition of Eurobois highlighted the strategic role of wood in construction. Construction systems, hybrid solutions, industrialization of processes and environmental performance were at the heart of the discussions, reflecting the growing expectations of the building sector in the face of climate and regulatory challenges.
The Timber Frame House (MOB) workshop offered visitors an immersive experience in a full-scale timber frame house panel construction workshop. Demonstrations combined traditional and digital techniques to showcase construction expertise.
Design: a showcase of multi-material innovation and design
Eurobois brought together fitters, joiners, architects and specifiers around current trends in interior design. Innovative materials, surfaces, finishes and design interacted on the exhibitors' stands but also through the Material Library, a new space dedicated to the presentation of multi-material trends, or the Interior Design Laboratory - The 5 Magnificent Ones, co-organized, true showcases of creativity and material innovation.
Eurobois also offered a day entirely dedicated to architecture and interior design, the Archi Festival, on Thursday, February 5th. This provided a great opportunity for networking and business for exhibitors in the interior design sector, as well as architects, interior designers, and other professionals.
The Wood Arena: conferences and inspiring perspectives on the challenges facing the industry
The Wood Arena, the true hub of the trade show, hosted a packed program of conferences, roundtables, and discussions throughout the four days, led by renowned experts in the wood industry. This space provided an opportunity to analyze the major challenges facing the sector, whether industrial, environmental, economic, or related to employment and training. By bringing together diverse perspectives and experiences, the Wood Arena fostered dialogue and enriched collective thinking about the current and future transformations within the industry.
Training and the new generation
With more than 900 students welcomed over 4 days, particularly on the Eurobois Campus and its seven training centers present, the fair also reaffirms its commitment to the attractiveness of woodworking professions, the transmission of know-how and the support of younger generations.
This year, Eurobois also hosted the WorldSkills training, a unique demonstration and exhibition program dedicated to young talents in the woodworking trades. Nine competitors from the French WorldSkills Teams (carpentry, joinery, cabinetmaking), selected in Marseille last October, took turns in the WorldSkills area of the trade fair to showcase their skills and the excellence of their craft.
According to Julien Estier, expert speaker on intergenerational management: "By inviting me to speak, Eurobois wanted to convey the message that all companies, regardless of their size or reputation, can inspire and engage younger generations."
Aurobois Awards 2026: Innovation at the heart of the show's DNA
A true springboard for industry innovation, the Eurobois Awards recognize exhibitors' products and services at each edition for their innovative nature, design, performance, and CSR commitment. This year, 15 innovations were shortlisted by a committee of experts before being presented to a jury of professionals, a jury of students, and, for the first time, to a public vote at the show, which awarded four prizes:
1st prize at the Eurobois Awards
STRATO GRIP and its STRATOGRIP E800 adhesive, low toxicity.
Design Award
FINSA and its innovative Fabric range of decorative textile and recycled leather surfaces.
The student jury's favorite
ILKOTT and its ultra-ergonomic trousers.
The "People's Vote" Award
BOSCH and its new EXPERT corded table saw with cutting height.
For Marc Thiercelin, renowned skipper and sponsor of the Eurobois Awards 2026: “Innovation is like riding a bike; when you stop pedaling, you fall. And for a company, when you stop innovating, you stop moving forward. The Eurobois Awards allow us to highlight these innovations, which are essential to the future of the timber industry.”
