Saint-Gobain aims to make 12 billion investments by 2030

With this plan called "Lead & Grow" covering the period 2026-2030, the group "further raises its trajectory of growth, profitability and value creation for its shareholders and customers," declared its CEO Benoit Bazin.

"In the current geopolitical context, Saint-Gobain benefits from the powerful operating model it has established and optimized country by country, based on local value chains," he added.

The group wants to carry out an asset rotation, disposals and acquisitions, of more than 20% of its turnover by 2030 in order to "continue to strengthen growth, profitability and value creation".

In this perspective, he emphasizes that "priority is given to the consolidation of leading positions, to high-growth countries and to construction chemistry."

At the same time, he wants to pamper his shareholders by the end of the decade, with "around 6 billion euros distributed in the form of dividends" and "steady growth in the dividend per share."

It also plans to invest 2 billion euros in share buybacks, which will help support its share price.

Saint-Gobain is also raising its financial targets with mid-single-digit revenue growth (around 5%, Editor's note) in local currencies, outperforming the markets in which it operates by 1 to 2 points.

It is targeting an EBITDA (gross operating profit) margin of between 15% and 18%, a free cash flow conversion rate of over 50% and a return on invested capital (ROCE) of over 13%.

In the shorter term, it finally confirms that it is targeting an operating margin of over 11,0% by 2025.

"I am confident that (...) we will be able to outperform in each geographical area and capture major opportunities: in Asia and in high-growth countries driven by demographics and urbanization, in North America with its strong structural needs, and in Europe where the recovery potential is considerable," emphasized Benoit Bazin.
