Rental property supply has fallen by 3% in Paris since 2006, but is growing strongly in the Île-de-France region.

The rental market in the Île-de-France region is evolving in contrasting ways. While Paris has seen a decline in the number of private rental properties since 2006, the supply of rental housing is increasing significantly in the rest of the region, particularly in the outer suburbs. This is according to a study by the Paris Region Institute (IPR) published a few days ago, which qualifies the perception of a widespread shortage of rental housing.
