The French have until November 10 to apply
Quebec is renewing its tour across France starting October 18. This initiative allows candidates who wish to explore professional opportunities in Quebec to meet representatives of the Quebec Immigration Services Directorate in Europe and to make their expatriation project a reality.
Throughout the month of October, “Choosing Quebec” information sessions will be held in six major cities in France: Nantes, Rennes, Strasbourg, Marseille, Montpellier and Angers. The stated objectives are to present the sectors that are recruiting, the job offers available as part of the Quebec France Days, and the immigration procedures for going to work in Quebec.
Quebec is currently facing a labor shortage in several sectors, particularly in construction and public works. These information sessions will highlight the specific business needs of Quebec companies.
Construction – BTP for affordable and sustainable housing
A priority of the Quebec government, the construction sector is looking for a large volume of workers for various trades, to meet the increase in demand for housing. Many companies offer great careers in several provinces of Quebec. The government has increased its efforts to attract, train and requalify 60.000 workers in the construction sector by 2026.
An unmissable event for immigration candidates
The French tour will allow many candidates to ask their questions directly to Quebec immigration experts and to discover the positions that will be offered to them. Participants will be able to find out about:
- Current immigration programs;
- Employment prospects in key sectors of the Quebec economy;
- Living, settlement and integration conditions in Quebec
- The recruitment process for the Quebec France Days.
Two-step recruitment: registration required
Candidates will be supported in their application on the Journées Québec France platform. Each information session is free and accessible to all, but registration is recommended to guarantee a place. The dates and practical information for the sessions can be found on: https://live.eventtia.com/fr/prestourneefrance
