Qualisport publishes a White Paper for local authorities

Olympic year, 2024 will certainly be on the podium of news for Qualisport, the expert in sports and leisure qualifications. Indeed, after the publication last June of its book "Building the sport of tomorrow", the Qualisport association is publishing a White Paper intended for elected officials and public buyers.

An educational support which aims to facilitate their choice of competent operators when awarding public contracts.

This White Paper is intended to help project owners and clients in their research and selection of competent service providers (programmers, builders, maintenance companies in the sports & leisure sector) capable of perfectly carrying out their projects. In fact, this 8-page publication offers clear instructions and practical information for a better understanding of the issues related to the qualification of companies in the sports and leisure sector.

The White Paper thus proposes a practical approach, referring to the legal framework and references of the Public Procurement Code.

Based on the decree of 22 March 2019, it reminds project owners and public buyers of the source that allows them to require (in the call for competition notice or, in the absence of such a notice in the consultation documents) professional qualification certificates established by independent bodies. But it is also intended to be educational, promoting the practical use of professional qualification certificates obtained by Qualisport-qualified companies.

The result of consultation with various stakeholders, organisations representing public procurement, construction and sport, this Qualisport White Paper is sponsored by AITF (Association of Territorial Engineers of France), ATTF (Association of Territorial Technicians of France), ANDIISS (National Association of Directors and Workers of Sports Facilities and Services), ANDES (National Association of Elected Officials in Charge of Sport), APASP (Association for Purchasing in Public Services), APECA (Association for the Performance of Public Procurement) and UNSFA (Union of Architects).
