Prestaterre and Nexity strengthen their strategic alliance to accelerate the low-carbon performance of housing in France

Prestaterre, a Cofrac-accredited certification body, announces the renewal for 2026 of its annual pricing agreement with Nexity, a major player in property development in France. This new commitment confirms and strengthens a long-standing collaboration between the two partners, dedicated to the environmental, energy, and social performance of new housing.

A relationship of trust built over time

Prestaterre has been supporting Nexity in its certification processes for over 10 years. The renewal of the annual pricing agreement demonstrates the strength of this strategic partnership and the enduring trust between the two parties.

Under this agreement, Nexity commits to a certain volume of business in exchange for preferential pricing. As a Cofrac-accredited organization, Prestaterre applies a strict framework guaranteeing fair pricing among its clients and compliance with its practices.

A partnership dedicated to operational performance

Through this renewal, Nexity reaffirms its commitment to relying on an independent and accredited certification body, in order to:

optimize certification costs,
capitalize on operational feedback (REX),
to structure the continuous improvement of energy, environmental and societal performance,
to support the skills development of the teams,
to better anticipate regulatory changes,
to have reliable and comparable performance indicators between operations.

This renewal reflects Nexity's desire to establish certification as a genuine strategic management tool, serving the quality and overall performance of its operations.

Significant results in terms of certification

The joint momentum is already resulting in tangible outcomes: to date, 27.500 Nexity homes are undergoing certification with Prestaterre, including nearly 10.000 in Low Carbon Building (BBCA).

Among these committed housing units, a significant proportion have already obtained their certification, demonstrating the effective deployment of environmental approaches within Nexity programs.

Nexity has also distinguished itself for seven years at the top of the BBCA ranking, which lists the operations actually certified, demonstrating a constant commitment to low carbon performance.

The renewal of this agreement for 2026 reflects the shared desire to continue the generalization of environmental performance in new housing, in a context of increasing regulatory requirements.
