Pierre de Varax takes the helm of Citae and initiates a new stage of transformation

His training – Sup de Co Reims – and his strong commercial background immediately placed the quality of customer service at the heart of the objectives set by the new Managing Director.

For Pierre de Varax upon taking up his post: "Today, Citae's priority is to build its expertise around building operations consulting. Indeed, 80% of the buildings that will exist in 2050 have already been built. The challenge is no longer just to build, but to optimize, transform, and improve the performance of existing assets, particularly in terms of energy and environmental aspects."

As the construction sector faces major and unprecedented challenges – decarbonization, reuse of materials, energy performance – Citae aims to position itself as a key player in the transformation and sustainable operation of real estate assets.

For Pierre de Varax: "My conviction is that it is possible to transform real estate into a powerful lever for ecological and social transition. We will be recruiting massively in 2025 to give us the means to implement this new comprehensive support strategy for the construction, renovation, and operation of buildings."
