Pierre-Gaël Chantereau, former CEO of Nokia in France, becomes Managing Director of Kone France, Belgium, Luxembourg

Based in Ile-de-France, his mission will be to drive and accelerate digital transformation and innovation, a key focus of the Finnish group's Rise to Lead 2030 strategy.

With 17 years of experience at Nokia, Pierre-Gaël Chantereau has held several leadership positions encompassing both corporate development and the management of complex industrial and technological activities. Most recently, he was Vice President, Mobile Infrastructure for Southern Europe, as well as President and CEO of Nokia in France, where he led high-stakes transformation projects focused on innovation, operational performance, and digitalization.

A graduate of HEC Paris, Pierre-Gaël Chantereau holds a master's degree in finance. Before joining Nokia, he worked at Monitor Deloitte between 2004 and 2009, where he held consulting positions in strategy and organization, in an international environment.

In his new role, Pierre-Gaël Chantereau will report to Karla Lindahl, EVP of KONE Europe, and will build upon the transformation initiated by his predecessor, Jérôme Audais. His roadmap is structured around the priorities of the Rise to Lead 2030 strategy: accelerating digitalization, boosting equipment modernization, strengthening KONE's position in the residential sector, and sustainably reducing the carbon footprint of its services. In a context of aging equipment and rapidly evolving user expectations regarding reliability, performance, durability, and service experience, this strategy provides concrete solutions to the current and future challenges facing the industry.

With extensive experience in industry, innovation, and change management, Pierre-Gaël Chantereau brings his expertise to support KONE's transformation projects in France, Belgium, and Luxembourg. His background, marked by the large-scale deployment of digital solutions, is a major asset for supporting the ongoing acceleration and addressing the challenges of a rapidly changing sector.
