Partnership between IsoHemp® and Chaux Saint-Astier® to develop bio-based solutions using lime-hemp

Driven by a shared vision, this alliance marks a new stage in the sustainable development of hemp and lime-based solutions in a booming eco-materials market in France and Europe.

A clear convergence in the face of environmental challenges

This union responds to an urgent need: conventional materials are struggling to meet current regulatory requirements, particularly RE2020.

On one side, Chaux Saint-Astier®, heir to centuries-old lime-making know-how and a major player in eco-materials for over 20 years, excels in the application of hempcrete in renovation.

On the other hand, IsoHemp®, an innovative Belgian company, has been revolutionizing the market since 2012 with its industrialized hemp blocks, true alternatives to sprayed hempcrete for the renovation, new construction and tertiary sectors.

Their shared ambition: to more broadly deploy bio-based solutions by making them more accessible and essential in the French market. These eco-materials are emerging as a concrete response to improving living comfort and decarbonizing the building sector, responsible for 39% of global greenhouse gas emissions*. The two partners also share a philosophy of close technical support, essential for effectively guiding project developers. This collaboration is structured around two major axes:

• On an industrial level, Saint-Astier® natural hydraulic limes will now be incorporated into the formulations of the IsoHemp® product range. This integration will create a complete and coherent construction system, from structural work to finishing touches, perfectly meeting the expectations of professionals committed to responsible construction practices.
• From a commercial standpoint, starting January 1, 2026, the teams from both companies will combine their efforts to jointly promote their solutions. IsoHemp®'s Syst'HEMP Reno range will be prominently featured alongside the Saint-Astier® eco-materials range within their respective distribution networks.
