POwR.Earth Summit will take place from March 13 to 15 at the CNIT and will welcome more than 10.000 people who will be able to come and listen and exchange with innovators, industrialists, political leaders, media executives, climate specialists and international speakers.
This summit will bring together a plurality of speakers whose discussions will make it possible to respond to the three challenges that it is essential to meet today:
- How can we reduce the gap between European ENR objectives and the current capacities of the French market?
- How can we develop a model harmoniously reconciling the development of ENR and the interests of biodiversity, agriculture, solidarity, as well as other actors in ecological bifurcation?
- How can we improve collaboration between the various energy stakeholders, including the public and private sectors, scientists, manufacturers, and financiers?
Among the hundred speakers and experts present, the following are notably expected:
- Bertrand Piccard, explorer, founder of the Solar Impulse Foundation
- Corinne Lepage, founding associate lawyer at Huglo-Lepage law firm, former minister
- François Gemenne, Member of the IPCC and co-director of the Defense & Climate Observatory at IRIS.

- Valérie Masson-Delmotte, Co-chair of IPCC working group 1
- Christine Rodwell, President and founder of Vivae
- David Lisnard, Mayor of Cannes, President of the Association of Mayors of France

The Summit is organized to create a strong context for decision and action. To help identify and accelerate initiatives that urgently need to be put in place, more than 27 conferences and 20 working groups are planned to date, with the objectives of overcoming a lack of coordination and thinking about very concrete proposals. , or allow audiences of decision-makers to meet experts.
These speeches and working groups will deal with subjects as diverse as: “Transforming society in a realistic way”, “The role of the public service in the transition”, “The transition in the face of public decision”, “Bioclimatic architecture: the conditions for adaptation", "Uses and behavior around energy", "The media and ecological training", "The financing of ENR: dialogue between politicians and financiers", "The human resources of transition”, “Renewables facing their needs in resources and materials”, and many other themes.
