Outsteel expands its range of air conditioning covers with new large-format models

These new products will be available in March 2025, and for the occasion, the brand will unveil a new signature: "Le French cache clim"! An original way to recall its origins since the brand is developed in France by Cheminées Poujoulat in Niort (Deux-Sèvres).

The heat pump (HP) market has grown significantly in recent years, with nearly 8 million units installed in France, supported by government subsidies and a national policy promoting the energy transition. Although market momentum slowed in 2024, HPs remain a popular solution for their efficiency and contribution to reducing greenhouse gas emissions. However, this heating method consists of a sometimes bulky outdoor unit that requires protection and aesthetic integration into outdoor spaces.

Faced with these growing aesthetic needs, Cheminées Poujoulat saw a unique opportunity to develop covers specifically adapted to outdoor air conditioning and heat pump units. This is how Outsteel was born.

The Brousse model enriched with sizes L, XL and Dual

Outsteel capitalizes on its expertise to design cladding solutions in various dimensions, capable of adapting to all configurations and enhancing each outdoor installation.

Iconic models such as BROUSSE, with its openwork plant design, or VENETIAN, inspired by the timeless lines of Venetian blinds, have left their mark on the market with their combination of functionality and refinement.

For Laura Lerouxel, Outsteel product manager at Cheminées Poujoulat: "Outsteel now presents an expanded offering, with covers that push the boundaries of customization and performance. We decided to build on our best-selling BROUSSE to create our new large-format models."

BROUSSE L and XL models:

These two new large-format models can be used to fit larger air conditioners and heat pumps.

Internal dimensions in mm (WxHxD):

Price: From €374 excluding VAT for the L model and €399 excluding VAT for the XL model

BROUSSE DUAL model:

Vertically installed dual power units now have their own cover. The integrated handle and screwless assembly simplify installation and maintenance.

• DUAL wall model: 1110 x 1569 x 702 adjustable in depth up to 150mm
• Full DUAL model: 1110 x 1569 x 645

All of these new large-format models are available from stock in textured cream white and textured anthracite gray. For a more daring customization, over 200 RAL colors are also available to order.

A 100% French high-end design

Made in France, the new Outsteel formats also appeal with their sleek design and finish without visible screws or folds, for an elegant and neat visual result.

Lightweight, easy to handle, yet extremely robust, they are made of thick aluminum and protected by a powder-coated paint, thus offering long-term durability and reliability. Easy to assemble and disassemble in less than 30 minutes and without special tools, these models are equipped with wall mounting strips for adaptation to installation regulations and greater installation flexibility.

Available in wall-mounted or free-standing configurations, they feature an ingenious design with high feet that promote air circulation, ensuring maximum efficiency of the installations. In addition, the adjustable feet ensure perfect stability, even on uneven floors, while the ground fixing allows them to be highly resistant to bad weather (wind, snow or rain).

Like the other models in the range, these new formats are designed to provide optimal protection against bad weather, impacts, and UV rays. By incorporating features such as removable panels, ergonomic handles, and simplified mounting systems, these heat pump enclosures meet all the requirements of professionals and individuals.
