The trial of the Minister of Labor begins this Monday, November 27. Olivier Dussopt is accused of having favored a water treatment group in 2009 when awarding a public contract.
While we heard little about Olivier Dussopt despite his involvement in the immigration law that he must embody alongside Gérald Darmanin, here he is in the spotlight for the opening of his trial for favoritism linked to facts dating from 2009.
According to the Minister of Labor, the investigation suspecting him of having favored a water treatment group in the award of a public contract has already been “classified at 80%”.
Bad timing
This trial comes at a bad time for Olivier Dussopt who was to defend his vision of the immigration law in the Assembly today with the Minister of the Interior.
It is trial season for the government with the trial of Eric Dupont-Moretti, suspected of illegal taking of interests, whose verdict will be rendered in two days by the Court of Justice of the Republic.
Rumors of a possible reshuffle are circulating but have not been confirmed to date.
