Together, they unveiled solution systems combining all their expertise. These "sealing systems," mostly designed and manufactured in France, meet the needs and regulatory requirements of the French market. These Kingspan systems, integrating insulation, waterproofing, cladding, and roofing systems, are the result of an industrial model developed by the group and are unique in France.
Nine companies are combining their expertise to meet the challenge of "sustainability through building envelope"
To meet the challenges of the French market, with increasingly ambitious regulations for both new construction and renovation, the Kingspan Group – established in France for 17 years with nine industrial entities operating across the country – has brought together a true collective of industrial expertise. The goal is to enable stakeholders to meet the challenge of sustainability, comply with environmental obligations, and design or renovate more efficient and sustainable buildings by providing them with turnkey solutions in waterproofing systems.
At the Top of the Roof event, this group of expert companies, all recognized in their market, unveiled for the first time these complexes, fully integrated into the Kingspan group, which make it possible to cover the entire building envelope.
In this logic, technical partnerships are developing between the entities to offer solutions that combine several systems, such as: the Roof Solar Evalon solution (created through the collaborative work of the entities DOME SOLAR, DERBIGUM, BACACIER and KINGSPAN INSULATION) or the Roof Dry solution (with the entities STEICO, KINGSPAN INSULATION and DERBIGUM).
These synergies are gradually being deployed, through technical solutions certified by specific validations (ATEx, specifications), but also through commercial partnerships at the local level to facilitate implementation on projects.

* APP bituminous membranes are composed of bitumen to which atactic polypropylene has been added, a plastomer material which ensures the resistance of the bitumen to UV rays, which gives it a long life and makes it possible to lay it even in high temperatures with a melting point of 150 °C.

Innovation at the service of sustainability: DERBIGUM nominated for the CSFE Innovation Awards for its Novitumen membrane
At the Top of the Roof trade show, Kingspan presented a solution for the "CSFE Innovation Awards", which celebrate the most innovative solutions and initiatives in the industry.
DERBIGUM applied for this award with its Novitumen® waterproofing membrane: a recycled raw material made exclusively from old waterproofing membranes and offcuts, without the addition of virgin bitumen. This innovation raises the total proportion of recycled materials to 80% and allows for the design of membranes, without virgin bitumen, that can be recycled almost indefinitely.
According to Gene Murtagh, CEO of Kingspan: “The Kingspan Group’s strategy aims to help every stakeholder meet increasingly demanding technical and regulatory requirements, as the tertiary sector decree continues to evolve, the RE2020 regulation becomes more stringent, and buildings, increasingly complex to design, must incorporate the challenges of resilience and adaptation. At Kingspan, what sets us apart is a long-term group strategy: for 17 years in France, we have chosen to bring together companies with unique expertise within a single industrial collective to create a model without equal in the market. In concrete terms, this translates into the ability to cover the entire building envelope (insulation, waterproofing, corrugated steel sheet support, and cladding) with aligned coordination and guarantees. Where others offer a juxtaposition of products, we offer truly integrated solutions: it is the complementarity of our industrial expertise that makes this possible, and that makes all the difference.”
