Managing Director of Holcim Philippines since 2024, and previously of Holcim Algeria, Nicolas George has driven a revitalization of operations in these countries, resulting in a strong improvement in industrial and financial performance.

Extensive experience within the Holcim group
Nicolas George joined the Holcim group in 2007 as head of strategy for the Chinese market, subsequently leading mergers and acquisitions operations for the Middle East region.
From 2013 onwards, Nicolas held various operational management positions for the Holcim Group, initially in different Southeast Asian countries, before becoming director of strategy for Asia, then managing director in Uganda.
In 2019, Nicolas George joined the materials division of the Chip Mong Group in Cambodia, following a period of partnership with the Holcim Group, and subsequently participated in the creation of the group's bank. He returned to the Holcim Group in 2021, taking over operations in Algeria, and then in the Philippines from 2024.
Nicolas George, a French national, is 45 years old and a graduate of the National Agronomic Institute Paris-Grignon and the AgroParisTech school.
Ahmed Sehil, Director of Administration and Finance at Lafarge France
Ahmed Sehil, formerly Deputy Chief Financial Officer of Lafarge Cements, has held the position of Chief Administrative and Financial Officer of Lafarge France since March 1, 2026. A member of the Lafarge France Executive Committee, he reports directly to Nicolas George, Chief Executive Officer.
Ahmed began his career in 1995 as an accountant at Lafarge in France, then progressed to operational positions as a management controller and then as a financial and consolidation controller.
In 2011, he joined Lafarge Algeria as head of management control for the Concrete and Aggregates business, subsequently becoming head of Management Control for the entire country. From 2016 to 2019, Ahmed worked in the central functions of the Holcim Group in Switzerland, where he joined teams dedicated to financial performance and the optimization of intra-group reporting tools.
Returning to France in 2020, he assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer for the Aggregates product line, also taking on the role of Deputy Chief Financial Officer of Lafarge France from 2024, in charge of Mergers & Acquisitions and financial performance.
Ahmed Sehil, a 55-year-old French national, holds a Diploma in Accounting and Financial Studies (DECF).
Xavier Legrand, CEO of Lafarge Bétons
Xavier Legrand, formerly Managing Director of Cimencam (Cameroon), a member of the Holcim Group, has held the position of Managing Director of Lafarge Bétons since March 1, 2026. A member of the Lafarge France Executive Committee, he reports directly to Nicolas George, Managing Director.
Xavier Legrand began his career in 1997 with the Holcim group in Turkey, working in the concrete division. His initial assignments involved new construction projects and then quality control.
Upon returning to France, he led an international project on concrete quality before taking on operational responsibilities in Normandy in 2005. His technical expertise then led him to direct the deployment of a new Group ERP, thus optimizing the synergy between cement, aggregates and concrete activities.
From 2010 onwards, his career took on a strategic international dimension. He successively assumed the General Management of Lafarge Bétons in Vietnam, then in Iraq in 2014, where he orchestrated the recovery and development of activities.
In 2018, he took over the management of all the subsidiaries of the Holcim group on Reunion Island, before moving to Cameroon in 2022 as Managing Director of Cimencam, the national leader in the sector.
Xavier Legrand, a 52-year-old French national, is a graduate of the Junia-HEI engineering school and holds a Master's degree from the IAE of Lille. He recently completed his studies with the Advanced Management Program at INSEAD.
