Nicolas Boffi appointed director of MIPIM

RX France announces the appointment of Nicolas Boffi as Director of MIPIM, reporting to RX France's Managing Director, Filippo Rean. A trained engineer and urban planner, Nicolas Boffi has over twenty years of experience with a strong international focus, working in project management, new business development, and public affairs.

Each year, MIPIM brings together more than 20.000 participants from 90 countries in Cannes, including political representatives, business leaders and investors, to address the major challenges facing the city.

Before joining RX France, Nicolas Boffi led the Global Cities Program strategy at Arcadis, as Paris City Executive. In this role, he worked closely with private stakeholders and political leaders to design and implement sustainable urban projects in Greater Paris (thinking about the future of business districts, transforming major shopping streets, and the role of new technology infrastructure in cities, etc.).

He is also president of AIVP, the Association of Alumni of the École des Ingénieurs de la Ville de Paris, from which he graduated with a master's degree at the University of Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée, thus confirming his commitment to the community of urban planners and engineers.

This appointment marks a new milestone for MIPIM, which aims to strengthen its position as a key summit bringing together urban stakeholders, political leaders, and international decision-makers from the public and private sectors. The goal: to address geopolitical uncertainties and funding crises, integrate technological innovations, and accelerate the transition to more sustainable urban models.

MIPIM will take place at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes from March 9 to 13, 2026.

The MIPIM Asia Summit will take place on December 3 and 4 in Hong Kong.
