Nexity maintains its outlook despite a decline in revenue in the first quarter

With nearly 1.500 housing reservations in the first quarter, up 1% year-on-year, mainly in high-demand areas, the group welcomed a good start, confirming its prospects for improved operating profitability and reduced debt for 2026.

The turnover for development and promotion fell to 518 million euros, and 513 million (-13%) according to the scope of "New Nexity", which excludes international activities and those sold off.

This decrease is explained by taking into account past bookings which were down.

"Revenue does not reflect the commercial activity of this first quarter, and this first quarter does not tell the story of the year. These results confirm the relevance of the +New Nexity+ model with a well-positioned commercial offer," commented Pierre-Henry Pouchelon, Deputy Chief Executive Officer in charge of finance.

Bookings for first-time buyers are slightly down, which is explained by the fact that major programs for these customers will be launched from the 2nd quarter.

The number of properties reserved by investors is increasing, particularly thanks to the new Jeanbrun scheme for rental investment support.

Sales of bulk housing to investors are "up sharply" at +38% compared to the first quarter of 2025.

"With 5.100 lots our commercial offer is perfectly suited to the size of the market," said Mr. Pouchelon, mentioning a sale in five months, a level before the crisis, which is "well below the market average."

Regarding the geopolitical context, the group does not observe a significant impact on the figures presented, with mortgage interest rates having "changed only slightly" as well as a "protective effect" of the PTZ (zero-interest loan) on first-time buyers.

"The progress of political consensus around housing issues, illustrated in particular by the measures taken at the beginning of 2026 in favor of rental investment and by the mitigation of planned cuts to social housing, promotes the emergence of a more favorable environment on the subject of housing," said Véronique Bédague, CEO of the group, quoted in a press release.
