Mr Bricolage's net profit plunges again, weighed down by sluggish consumer spending.

The company has reported a decline in its net profit for the fourth consecutive year.

Revenue increased by 2,6% to €287,6 million, according to a company statement. This result was achieved despite the closure of some stores (-2%), which the group attributes to "a continued decline in household spending in favor of home improvements."

As of January 31, 2026, Mr.Bricolage had 1.068 points of sale, including 614 affiliated stores.

"In this period of economic uncertainty, compounded by unfavorable weather for our sector during key periods, it is the future that we have continued to prepare for," commented Fabio Rinaldi, the group's CEO, who has been in office since January.

The group has invested 17,2 million euros to double the size of its logistics hub in Voivres-lès-le-Mans (Sarthe), which is now unique and equipped with a "latest generation robotics solution".

This new organization led to the closure of its warehouse in L'Hospitalet (Lot).

In an "increasingly competitive" DIY market, Fabio Rinaldi, who replaced Christophe Mistou who left for GiFi, detailed "Puissance1000", the group's new strategic plan scheduled until 2028.

This plan is intended to "strengthen the Group's competitiveness, performance and attractiveness of its local independent model".

During the pandemic, the brand benefited from "exceptionally high" levels of household spending on home improvements during lockdowns, but the momentum has since faded.

Mr Bricolage is nevertheless in much better health than before the health crisis: the group was in the red, with a loss of 8,7 million euros, in the first half of 2019.
