Mr. Bricolage's net profit falls in the first half of the year

Net profit fell 40,6% compared to the first half of 2024, falling to €5 million. It had already fallen by more than 35% in the first half of 2024 compared to the first half of 2023.

The brand reports "a market context that remains constrained. The economic situation in the first half of the year was marked by continued cautious household consumption, a slow recovery in the real estate market and weather conditions that were often unfavorable to store activity."

Consolidated turnover rose by 4,4% to 158,4 million euros, due in particular to "the increase in the number of points of sale."

Mr. Bricolage will change management on September 1st, following the announcement in early July of the departure of its CEO, Christophe Mistou, who will take over the leadership of the struggling general store chain GiFi.

Didier Julien, appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mr. Bricolage since July 8, will assume interim management until the arrival of Mr. Mistou's successor.

As of June 30, 2025, the network of members and affiliates of the Mr.Bricolage group brings together 1.091 points of sale: 20 stores joined the network during the first half of the year, including 1 stores under the Mr.Bricolage brand.

The group specifies that "the new Mr.Bricolage Relais brand, announced in January 2025, won 39 points of sale during the second quarter of 2. The improvement in their performance compared to the old formats was felt from the first months of activity."
