Mister ConTech: the co-founder of Bulldozair trains and supports construction professionals in artificial intelligence

Between this potential and the reality on the ground, there's a chasm. Construction professionals have heard promises of a "digital revolution" in the building industry—but they're still waiting. They see AI consultants parading through, discovering the sector at the same time as their clients. And they hear a constant barrage: thousands of new tools every month, promises everywhere, but no user manuals anywhere.

It is in this gap that Ali El Hariri decided to set up his new business.

15 years of field experience, from Bouygues to Silicon Valley

A graduate of ESTP engineering school, El Hariri honed his skills on Bouygues construction sites before co-founding Bulldozair, a pioneering startup in digital construction site monitoring, accelerated in Silicon Valley by Y Combinator (Airbnb, Stripe, Dropbox). The tool is deployed at EGIS, ARTELIA, SETEC, INGEROP, SYSTRA, ADP, RATP — tens of thousands of professionals use it daily.

The company is acquired by Infopro Digital. El Hariri takes over the international management of Mezzoteam and deploys the platform on major projects in Asia, Africa and Europe.

At the end of 2025, he left the corporate world and launched Mister ConTech — AI training and implementation exclusively dedicated to the construction industry. His conviction: the sector's distrust of AI is strikingly similar to the distrust it experienced with digital technology ten years ago. And the response is the same.

"Construction professionals don't need yet another consultant telling them that AI will change everything. They need people who know their business and who can show them concretely what it changes for them."

Why a construction specialist, and why now?

The market is not lacking in AI training courses. But between a generalist consultant who cannot distinguish a HVAC package from a CFO package and a YouTube tutorial that no one has time to follow, the truly useful options for a design office or a construction company are rare.

El Hariri points to a simple calculation: a company that masters AI in its tender responses and quantity takeoffs gains a significant advantage over its competitors. Engineering firms' prices are also being challenged by their rivals, project owners, or those who are aware that documents are increasingly being generated by AI. In a tight market, contracts are won or lost. And contrary to popular belief, the issue isn't waiting for the technology to "mature"—the tools are already available. It's the expertise that's lacking.

This is precisely what fifteen years spent getting tens of thousands of construction professionals to adopt digital technology have taught him: technology is worthless without an adoption method rooted in the reality of the profession.

Training as the entry point, implementation when it's a good fit.

The Mister ConTech offer is structured in two stages.

The first part of the training is divided into two parts. First, mastery of general-purpose AI tools—Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, NotebookLM, Copilot—applied to real-world construction scenarios: analyzing tender documents, responding to calls for tenders, identifying inconsistencies in a contract, and generating a technical report. Second, an overview of specialized AI solutions already available on the construction market, presented from the independent perspective of a former software vendor now working with users.

The bet: generalist AI will allow the sector to lighten its administrative burden and refocus on the core business — the field, the technology, the management.

The second phase is reserved for companies whose training has revealed deeper needs. Implementation of customized automations, connected to existing tools: targeting two or three high-impact processes, prototyping in a few weeks, delivering an operational solution.

Mister ConTech will be at the ConstructionTech Village — an initiative led by Eric Combeau, with whom Ali El Hariri has collaborated since the early days of Bulldozair — as part of Digital Twin | BIM World, on April 1st and 2nd, 2026 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles — alongside 70 startups gathered with the support of CCCA-BTP, CAPEB, FFB, Compagnons du Devoir and Action21.fr.
