The success of its Wallis&Outdoor® pergolas designed by Dank Architectes demonstrates that collaborations prove fruitful, in this case with a Lyon architecture and design agency.
Profils Systèmes once again demonstrates inventiveness and daring by inviting designer Patrick Veillet to rethink his aluminum handles for exterior joinery, under the name of a collection: Mandurah®. “Visionary and multi-sector trend-setter”, particularly in fashion, luxury, perfume and cosmetics, his protean talent has seduced Profils Systèmes so that he expresses himself where we least expect him. The challenge ? Imagine an innovative concept of handles with an evolving design, which would adapt to different types of openings. The advent: a collection of bare handles whose appearance can be varied by the addition of inserts of multiple shapes and materials: rectangular plates (Quadra) or long curved (Wave), covered in 6 wood species, 4 colors of resins or even 12 shades of leather! It is now possible to coordinate window, door and sliding window handles, whereas until now hardware suppliers have not offered any solution to this desire for attention to detail and aesthetic harmonization.
An innovation like a “soul supplement”
This new collection is based on a refined design with a simple appearance: “a circle placed in a square from which a rectangular parallelepiped is born. There is both an influence of Brutalism, for the massive side, and of Bauhaus, through the respect of geometric shapes” confides Patrick Veillet.
The slides have 5 models: offset handle, 20° handle, handle without base, operating button and pull handle. As for the handles, window handles are single without base or centered and those for doors & patio doors are double without base.
All available in raw aluminum, they can be lacquered in the exclusive Profils Systèmes colors and finishes: RAL palette, Terra Cigala®, Profils Color® or the very latest range for Météorites® accessories.
Although it can remain bare, each model also remains customizable as desired thanks to various filling elements, which are modular and easily removable. In terms of shapes, Quadra stands straight while Wave marks an undulation. In terms of decor, the woods come in 6 species (Ebony, Wenge, Teak, Walnut, Oak and Ash), the resins come in 4 shades (White, Black, Beige and Translucent) and the leathers come in 12 shades (Stone, Taupe, Nude). , Vintage Camel, Copper Brown, Maranello Red, Aston Red, Chocolate, Cognac, Mocha, Indigo Blue and Black). A wide variety of colors and textures which offers numerous decorative combinations, to play with harmony or contrast!
For Patrick Veillet: “The different designs made possible by the customization of each object adapt to the desires of everyone in the house, while preserving a common identity to the openings which adorn the different rooms. »
Note that the Mandurah® collection adapts perfectly to striking joinery from the Cuzco®, Dzao®, Satin Moon® ranges as well as Cuzco®, Dzao®, Satin Road® and Touareg® sliding joinery from Profils Systèmes.
Let us also point out that Profils Systèmes, again attentive to both aesthetics and functionality, offers to discover the Mandurah® collection in an elegant presentation box, a real aluminum and leather case highlighting the careful design of its handles.
