The president of the Lyon metropolitan area, Bruno Bernard (EELV), called for "full and complete support from the State" to finance the repair of the "considerable damage" caused by the exceptional flooding in the Rhône last week, in an open letter addressed to Michel Barnier on Thursday 24 October.
