La Poste Immobilier enters into a partnership with Sergic for the operation of 3 student residences with services in France

This memorandum of understanding concerns three former postal buildings that La Poste Immobilier will transform into student residences with services, the development and management of which will be ensured by Sergic.

After undertaking the transformation of around ten postal sites into senior service residences, La Poste Immobilier is continuing its development in the service residence segment by investing in the student housing market, characterized by sustained needs in metropolitan areas and university towns.

La Poste Immobilier plans to begin the transformation of 3 former postal sites currently vacant, located in Courbevoie (92), Toulouse (31) and Levallois-Perret (92), into 511 student accommodations representing a total area of ​​approximately 11.000 m2.

Under the terms of the signed agreement, the development and operation of these future residences, scheduled to open by 2030, will be entrusted to Sergic. Ideally located in the city center, close to public transportation and major higher education institutions, the future residences will be marketed under the "Twenty Campus" brand developed by Sergic. This concept is distinguished by its high-quality student services, with fully furnished and equipped apartments, complemented by numerous communal living spaces (gym, laundry facilities, cafeteria) and hotel-style services (breakfast, Wi-Fi, housekeeping, etc.) that promote comfort and social interaction. In addition, postal services will also be offered to students, in conjunction with the postal group's other activities.

A response to the context of high pressure on student housing

With only 380.000 places available in student residences for nearly 3 million young students—roughly one unit for every six to seven students—France faces a structural shortage of dedicated student housing. In this context, La Poste Immobilier, by leveraging its existing assets to create new accommodation capacity, and Sergic, through a high-quality and accessible offering, are combining their expertise to provide a concrete and sustainable solution to this challenge.
