From now on, choosing plasterboard and estimating quantities for each project is simplified. The entire project (partitions, counterparts, and ceilings) can be handled with a single reference: Knauf LaPlaK®.
This unique proposition from Knauf combines the benefits of several specialized plasterboards: water and impact resistance, sound insulation, air purification and white facing for an impeccable finish. Knauf LaPlaK® will ensure a simplification of stocks.
Knauf LaPlaK® makes everyday life easier for craftsmen and promotes their renovation expertise
Synonymous with simplicity and efficiency for all renovation projects, Knauf LaPlaK® is manufactured in France at the Saint-Soupplets factory (77) and will be, from next September, in the new Knauf production unit in Fos-sur-Mer (13).
With a thickness of 13 mm and available in width 1.200 and lengths 2.600 or 2.700 mm, Knauf LaPlaK® is as easy to install as standard plasterboard.
Knauf LaPlak® : a concentration of performance in a single plate
Knauf LaPlak® actually combines the benefits. Water-repellent, it meets the water resistance requirements of humid rooms such as bathrooms.
Knauf LaPlak® also improves sound insulation between rooms by 3 dB compared to a traditional 72/48 partition made from standard panels. Made from high-density plasterboard, Knauf LaPlak® also displays shock resistance.
Furthermore, Knauf LaPlak® is equipped with Knauf Cleaneo technology® C, for healthier indoor air. This process purifies the ambient air by depolluting it with a reduction of around 80% in the concentration of formaldehyde*.
Knauf LaPlak® is provided with a white cardboard, which greatly facilitates the painting work, guaranteeing an impeccable finish.
Knauf LaPlak® thus allows significant improvements in comfort and durability of the works in all the rooms where it is implemented.
*Knauf products with Cleaneo® C technology have been tested in the laboratory and have shown significant results (Wessling tests no. ULY14-012537-1).
Knauf LaPlaK®, a solution compatible with all types of interior insulation, including bio-sourced insulation
Knauf LaPlaK®, type F according to standard EN 520, is a solution compatible with all types of interior insulation, in particular bio-sourced insulation.
This type F classification, according to the requirements of the “Guide to interior insulation of residential buildings”, allows, for example, its use in association with the bio-sourced and recycled insulation Knauf ThermaSoft® natura. It can also be combined with other combustible insulation materials not classified A1 or A2-s1,d0, in the configurations of counter-partitions in residential buildings, such as for the construction of ceilings and slopes (of habitable rooms on the top levels in residential buildings) or for the construction of ceilings of habitable rooms on intermediate levels (in residential buildings of the 1st the 2th family).
The new Knauf LaPlaK universal board® is therefore the choice for a renovation without compromise with a complete solution bringing together all the essential advantages for carrying out renovation projects.
