Klépierre records a third consecutive year of strong growth

The owner of 70 shopping centers in about ten European countries saw the turnover of the retailers present in its centers increase by 3,4% in 2025 and its net rental income increase by 5,1% year-on-year.

Its gross operating surplus (EBE), which describes the profitability of a company's activities, thus shows an increase of 5,5% compared to 2024, to 1,1 billion euros.

And its current net cash flow, the overall profitability indicator that the real estate company uses to set its objectives, shows growth of 4,6% and reaches 2,72 euros per share.

Klépierre is thus exceeding the forecasts announced at the beginning of the year.

"Over the past three years, Klépierre has delivered unparalleled growth in the sector," recalled Chairman of the Board Jean-Marc Jestin, with +21% in net rental income, +23% in EBITDA and +21% in current net cash flow.

These performances "reflect the quality of the portfolio" of shopping centers, "its positioning in major cities and its rationalization over the last ten years," with the sale of many centers deemed to have little potential, he explained during a conference call.

Jean-Marc Jestin also pointed out that "consumption is dynamic throughout Europe".

The company achieves a net profit of 1,3 billion euros in 2025, driven by increased activity and a 4,9% increase in asset value.

Listed in Paris, Klépierre will propose a dividend of 1,90 euros per share, 3% above the amount of the previous year.

The boss says he is "very confident about 2026" because of his "solid balance sheet" and his debt under control.

Klépierre expects its EBITDA and current net cash flow to grow by at least 1% in 2026. A cautious target given past growth, justified by the group's usually "conservative and reasonable" attitude, according to Mr. Jestin.

In 2025, the group acquired a shopping center in Bari, Italy, and sold 205 million euros worth of non-strategic assets.
