Klépierre announces the acquisition of a shopping center in Italy

This asset records an annual attendance of 7,5 million visitors and displays a loyalty rate of over 90%, highlighting its unique positioning in its catchment area.

Casamassima is located in the heart of Puglia's largest shopping destination, encompassing 100.000 m² of retail and leisure space. This center notably houses Spazio Conad, a leading food retailer, as well as Leroy Merlin, Decathlon, MediaWorld, Sephora, Foot Locker, Rituals, and a nine-screen cinema complex. The fashion offering is spearheaded by a flagship Zara store, the only Primark in the region, and outlets for Bershka, Stradivarius, and Pull & Bear.

This operation is in line with the Group's Business-to-Business approach, which aims to support the development of major international brands. Casamassima's retail mix will be strengthened, with the confirmed expansion of several brands through the opening of flagship stores and the launch of a renovation program, initiated by Klépierre, to improve the customer experience.

By joining Klépierre's portfolio, Casamassima will benefit from the leading shopping center platform in Southern Europe, enabling it to optimize its operations through tenant reversion, relocation, and the deployment of Mall Income. Klépierre anticipates a return on investment close to double digits in the first year.
