Kebony will be present at the Paysalia 2025 trade fair: Norwegian expertise in sustainable wood will be showcased at Eurexpo Lyon

Kebony, a renowned Norwegian player in the field of sustainable wood materials, announces its participation in Paysalia, the leading trade fair for the landscaping industry. The event will take place from December 2nd to 4th, 2025 at Eurexpo Lyon and expects nearly 40.000 visitors, including numerous landscape architects, green space managers, local authorities, and professionals committed to the ecological transition.

At its booth #5C62 (24 m²), Kebony will offer a true immersion into the world of sustainable wood. Visitors will be able to discover the brand's eco-responsible wood species, its new color palette, and numerous outdoor applications of its products: decking, cladding, and even street furniture. Kebony will also be holding a contest open to all visitors.

Green technology at the service of sustainable architecture

Developed in Norway, Kebony technology is based on a patented and environmentally friendly process that modifies softwood from sustainably managed forests. This treatment involves heating the wood with a bio-based liquid, causing its cell walls to polymerize. The material thus acquires the properties of tropical hardwoods, while significantly reducing its environmental impact.

Paysalia 2025: Innovations and Sustainable Solutions

Co-organized by GL Events and Unep, Paysalia brings together landscape professionals every two years to discuss the technical, climatic and ecological challenges of our time.

The 2025 edition will be structured around five major themes, two of which particularly resonate with Kebony's commitment: "Adapting and acting in the face of climate change: innovating for a sustainable future" and "Biodiversity and ecology: promoting resilience and the restoration of ecosystems".

A true laboratory of ideas, the trade fair will showcase innovations, materials, and natural solutions. The program includes nearly 70 conferences and workshops, the presentation of the nominees for the Paysalia Innovation Awards, and the Gardeners' Square, which this year will explore "The Garden of Possibilities."

In 2023, Paysalia brought together 1.530 exhibitors from more than 70 countries, confirming its status as an essential event on a European and international scale.
