Kebony appoints Tom DeKeyser as Chief Executive Officer

Tom brings over 26 years of experience in the global timber industry and international trade, with a strong track record in business development, operational excellence, and sustainable growth. His appointment comes as Kebony continues to expand its international presence and meet the growing demand for sustainable and high-performance solutions in the construction sector.

Before joining Kebony, Tom DeKeyser held senior leadership positions at the Lemahieu Group, where he spearheaded significant organizational and operational initiatives across multiple entities. Working closely with the Board and shareholders, he supported the company's transformation, international expansion, and long-term value creation.

During his tenure, Tom led the launch and international development of a company specializing in modified wood, and oversaw the successful integration of acquired companies. He also contributed to improved profitability through operational discipline, digitalization, and optimization via information technology, while maintaining a strong commitment to sustainability and responsible sourcing.

As Managing Director, Tom will focus on accelerating growth in Kebony's current markets, expanding the company globally, and strengthening its leadership position in sustainable modified wood solutions.
