The Homematic IP Pro lock mechanism controls access and security for entrance doors, even remotely.

The door can be opened, locked, and unlocked via the Homematic IP app, a keypad, a remote control, or voice commands. Its features allow users to configure automatic locking mechanisms and assign access permissions. For added security, sensors detect any anomalies to alert the user in real time to attempted break-ins. The lock mechanism is available in four colors: white, anthracite, white/silver, and anthracite/silver.

Easy installation and long battery life

Universal, the pro lock mechanism adapts to all standard cylinders with emergency and panic functions. Installation is simple and does not require replacing the locking system: it is fixed to the cylinder on the inside of the door by screwing or gluing.

Adapters for knob cylinders (available from June 2026, sold separately) will allow installation on knob cylinders, without having to replace the locking cylinder.

The device operates on four LR6/1,5V batteries or NiMH HR6/1,2V rechargeable batteries, providing a typical battery life of 1,5 years. Its sleek design makes it compact (43 x 131 x 55 mm W x H x D) and lightweight (320 g with batteries). The powerful motor can operate in silent mode (optional).

Programmable automatic locking

The front door can be automatically locked at set times, for example at night, and can even automatically relock itself after each opening. A door status detection function ensures that it is properly closed before being locked.

Anomaly detection and alarm triggering

The lock mechanism – pro – is equipped with position and vibration sensors to immediately detect any attempt to tamper with the door or the device itself. In case of an anomaly, a push notification is sent to the smartphone and an alarm siren can be triggered on the Homematic IP system. The device can distinguish between manual openings, openings from the inside using the dial, and openings from the outside using a key, allowing it to determine if someone is accessing the property with a duplicate set of keys.

Up to 8 access permissions per mechanism

Access permissions can be managed individually and defined according to specific time slots, days, and times, with start and end dates. This feature allows, in particular, for granting dedicated access to cleaning staff, home care workers, or vacation tenants. All openings and closings are logged in the application.
