This range, manufactured in France, brings together four complementary solutions designed to combine technical performance, interior comfort, and respect for the environment. By combining natural hydraulic lime and plant fibers, Heidelberg Materials confirms its commitment to bio-sourced materials and offers alternatives that combine tradition and modernity to meet the current challenges of renovation, restoration, and responsible architecture.
Four solutions for professionals
Socli Isoliant is a binder whose formula is mainly composed of Pure Natural Hydraulic Lime and air lime (packaged in 22,5 kg bags) specially formulated for hempcrete applications. It guarantees excellent breathability of the walls, promotes healthy indoor air quality and prevents the formation of mold, while ensuring thermal and acoustic insulation. Its high lime content ensures increased durability and ideal compatibility with the restoration of old heritage, while presenting a mechanical resistance greater than 0,7 MPa. With a thermal conductivity coefficient of 0,087 W/mK, it displays thermal resistances ranging from 1,7 to 5,2 m².K/W depending on the thickness (15 to 45 cm) and a phase shift of 7,8 to 23,5 hours. The Isoliant/Chanvrilys pair (hemp certified for buildings) has been validated by Construire en Chanvre and complies with the 2024 professional rules for building with hemp.
Socli Isoliant is used on vertical walls (walls, partitions and linings) in hemp concrete as well as for insulating intermediate floors, and can be implemented both manually and by machine, in association with certified hemp shives such as Chanvrilys® or under the “Hemp Building” label. [1]
Socli Isoliant Eco is a cement-free version that incorporates the qualities of Socli Isoliant while going further in the environmental approach. Also packaged in 22,5 kg bags, this binder reduces water consumption, improves thermal insulation and enhances the natural color of hemp. Its thermal conductivity coefficient is 0,073 W/mK. Thermal resistances vary from 2,05 to 6,16 m².K/W for thicknesses between 15 and 45 cm, with a thermal phase shift ranging from 8,6 to 25,7 hours. Its mechanical resistance is greater than 0,2 MPa. Perfectly suited to new constructions, eco-responsible renovations and heritage projects, Socli Isoliant Eco guarantees hygrometric regulation, summer comfort and excellent indoor air quality.
Socli Naturlys is positioned as a lightweight interior finishing coating based on natural hydraulic lime and exposed hemp shiv, contributing to the coating's textured appearance. Available in 18 kg bags, it combines technicality and aesthetics thanks to its natural whiteness. Its warm wall effect and light thermal correction limit heat loss. Its thermal conductivity is 0,215 W/mK, its formulation corresponds to class CS I according to CE EN 998-1 and it meets the requirements of DTU 26.1. With a consumption of 9 kg/m²/cm and a water requirement of 10 liters per bag, it is applied in layers of 1,5 to 3 cm on old or natural substrates such as rammed earth, stone, brick or hemp concrete. Its finishes – smoothed, troweled or sponged – reveal the plant fiber and reinforce its authentic character. Socli Naturlys can be applied manually or mechanically using a suitable coating machine.
Finally, Socli Unilys is a ready-to-use single-layer mineral coating formulated with natural hydraulic lime, guaranteeing a smooth, uniform and durable finish. Intended for covering hemp concrete, it is perfectly compatible with bio-sourced and highly porous substrates such as hemp, wood, flax or rapeseed. Its high water vapor permeability ensures optimal breathing of the walls and contributes to the natural regulation of humidity. It can be applied indoors and outdoors, both manually and mechanically.
