Graphisoft announces the availability of MEP Designer in France

First launched in October 2025, MEP Designer bridges the gap between traditional CAD tools and advanced BIM workflows by enabling engineers to model, coordinate, and document building systems. Available as a subscription, included in the MEP Designer Studio and Archicad Collaborate offerings, MEP Designer is a unique and innovative BIM solution for MEP engineering, which is:

• Based on Archicad's BIM core, the reference platform for architects, offering collaborative and seamless BIM workflows between architects and MEP engineers;
• Easy to learn and use, thanks to an intuitive interface and intelligent modeling tools that automate and simplify the MEP design process;
• Flexible and adaptable, allowing MEP engineers not only to quickly create their models, but also to easily modify them.

• Detailed documentation generated automatically: from floor plans and sections to bills of materials and parts lists, customizable and ready to be submitted;
• Integrated visualization tools and parametric libraries;
• Fluid communication and consistency of the model, both on site and remotely;
• Precise planning and efficient coordination: CALHYDRA now connects to MEP Designer via a dedicated interface, allowing direct transfer of hydraulic and HVAC systems for hydraulic calculations; the results are then updated in the model for a smooth BIM workflow.

MEP Designer is currently available on Windows and macOS in select Asian and European markets.
