Through these 6 measures, applicable immediately, the objective is to support the French, industrialists and professionals in reducing their impact on the climate through the use of liquid gases throughout the territory and the development of biogas. liquids.
To help all French people in their ecological transition
Proposition 1: I support high-performance propane and biopropane renovations for individuals.
Proposition 2: I encourage isolated or island territories to use liquid gas, a less polluting energy available locally.
Means of action : I am establishing an incentive tool for heating equipment with very high energy performance (THPE) powered by liquid gases, substitutable by their equivalent of renewable origin, such as biopropane, without changing the infrastructure.
To support manufacturers and professionals in the pursuit of their activity
Proposition 3: I support the renovation of company buildings with liquid gas and biogas.
Proposition 4: I allow the use of equipment that cannot run on electricity, safeguarding competitiveness and limiting the climate impact of companies through the use of gas and liquid biogas.
Means of action : For professionals throughout the territory, I establish reduced taxation on liquid gases, reflecting their local need for recourse to efficient and competitive energy, less carbon-intensive (cf. Ademe carbon base), cleaner, and progressively renewable with biopropane, without changing the infrastructure.
To support the clean mobility of people, professionals and goods
Proposition 5: I communicate widely on all the less carbon fuels which have an immediate effect on air quality, first and foremost LPG.
Means of action : I establish a premium for the conversion of used vehicles to Crit'air 1 vehicles, whether new or aftermarket, to allow immediate improvement in air quality and a reduction in emissions of GES.
I develop incentives and communications on mobility that include all alternative fuels: alongside the electric or, in the long term, hydrogen vehicle, there is an offer of vehicles that are immediately less polluting thanks to LPG, which must continue to exist for integrating ever more bioLPG.
I include LPG again in the essential fuels to be made available at motorway service stations in the same way as electric charging terminals.
To support liquid biogas
Proposition 6: I support the Liquid Gas sector, which is working to achieve 100% liquid gas of renewable origin on the market by 2050, at a competitive price for the consumer.
Means of action : I support the production of liquid biogas and industrial innovation: I include the development of liquid biogas in the France 2030 calls for projects. I translate into taxation the contribution of liquid biogas to the decarbonisation of French society, and I encourages their use by targeted devices.
Gas energy at the service of the French energy mix of tomorrow
The liquid gas and biogas sector is determined to be a stakeholder in the energies that will contribute to greater decarbonization to achieve the objective of net zero CO2 emissions. Several energy scenarios corroborate the role of renewables in the French energy mix, including that of liquid biogas, which does not suffer from intermittency and covers the entire territory.
For Joël Pedessac, Managing Director of France Gaz Liquides: “The place of butane-propane energy, which will become 100% renewable, must be secured within a diversified energy mix geared towards renewable energies. Already present in the transition for heating, mobility, industries and SMEs, it has become imperative to participate in the transition of the liquid gas sector to allow it to evolve. »
Adapted to the imperative of an efficient and locally realistic ecological transition, butane propane energy daily supplies 27 municipalities not connected to the natural gas network, and supplies a total of 000 million consumers, which is as much as natural gas. Liquid gases constitute a fundamental energy for all French people, the only energy available on 11% of the territory which can become entirely renewable. With biopropane, individuals, craftsmen, hoteliers, restaurants and communities have access to efficient energy, without risk of intermittence or supply, and sustainable.
By engaging in an innovative and job-creating transformation, established in the territories, the politicians contribute to the influence of France thanks to companies in the territory recognized worldwide in their field.
This transformation will require support from the public authorities in various forms: support for the conversion of refineries, funding for R&D and technical and economic prospects that are more favorable to liquid gases of renewable origin.
