For its 30th anniversary, the HBF Group confirms its position as a leading industrial player in the electrical equipment market.

Driven by a dynamic of innovation and control over its entire value chain, the Group now designs and develops its own products to anticipate market trends, particularly the electrification of energy uses. It announces the launch of several new product lines in 2026, reflecting its commitment to revitalizing an innovation dynamic that is expected to accelerate in the coming years.

Despite an uncertain economic environment, in 2025, HBF posted consolidated revenue of 80 million euros and maintained the ambitions of its CAP 2030 project, aiming for 150 million euros in revenue by 2030, driven in particular by an external growth strategy in France and internationally.

On the occasion of this anniversary, HBF also reaffirms its commitments to CSR and decarbonization.

HBF: in three decades, it has become a major industrial player in electrical equipment

Since its inception, HBF has developed products covering the main areas of electrical equipment: installation, connection, lighting, home automation, HVAC, and renewable energy, through its six brands: Zenitech, ProTec, Otio, Voltman, Watt & Co, and Orium. Initially an importer and distributor, HBF has progressively structured an integrated industrial model. The Group now designs its own products, integrating environmental considerations from the initial design stages, from sourcing (purchasing office in China) to design, patent development, and production (industrial partners in Europe and Asia).

In 2025, the HBF Group reports consolidated revenue of €80 million. For 2026, it plans a cautious strategy, focused on stabilizing its business and preserving its achievements, before embarking on a new phase of development in 2027.

New 2026 product ranges: innovation at the heart of the Group's strategy

Continuing its investments in its traditional electricity markets, the HBF Group is expanding its product range with several new offerings throughout 2026: a line of reinforced sockets for electric vehicles launched last January, a range of weatherproof electrical equipment in July, cable reels and accessories, a line of technical spotlights in September, and office power strips in November. Innovation is indeed a key pillar of the HBF Group's strategy. It relies on a Research and Development department and a Marketing department with around twenty employees (engineering, electronics, mechanics, etc.). This integrated structure allows the Group to design products from start to finish, master key technologies, and file patents.

External growth: the second pillar of the Group's strategy

HBF is pursuing its external growth strategy to complement its offering and strengthen its expertise. The recent integrations of Watt & Co and Orium have allowed it to consolidate its position in the high-end connection market and expand its catalog into complementary categories, such as measurement and energy (electrical substations).

These mergers are fully in line with the CAP 2030 strategic project, which sets a target of 150 million euros in revenue by 2030, driven in particular by the ambition of future external growth operations, in France and internationally.

2026: a year of structuring for the HBF Group's CSR strategy

Finally, as a backdrop to its development and growth and innovation projects, the HBF Group is deploying its "HBF Positive" environmental strategy, aiming to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions by 25% by 2030, compared to 2021. To achieve this trajectory, the priority levers are purchasing, the energy consumption of marketed products, transportation, and the end-of-life management of equipment. Concrete actions have already been undertaken: integration of recycled plastic into several product lines (wiring devices, power strips, wall sockets, cable reels), eco-design of packaging, and the elimination of plastic from packaging. In 2024, HBF was also one of the first market players to launch a range of bio-based plastic wall sockets with Natura.

In 2026 the approach intensifies with several structuring initiatives: strengthening the responsible purchasing and industrialization policy, work on more virtuous modes of transport and sources of supply, as well as the launch of an eco-labelling approach.
