Initial assessment of Beissier's CSR actions implemented in 2025

Although Beissier obtained AFNOR ISO 26000 Committed to CSR Exemplary Level 3 stars certification in 2024, doubled in 2025 and renewed in 2026 by an EcoVadis platinum medal (Top 1% worldwide), the French manufacturer confirms its deep commitment to CSR by drawing up an initial assessment of its latest investments made for 2025.

A retrospective embodying a genuine strategy lived on a daily basis within the company, which concerns its actions in favor of its employees, its environmental impact, and its territorial roots.

Environment: Between Resource Conservation and Protection

In terms of reducing its environmental impact, in addition to a 40% reduction in its GHG (greenhouse gas) emissions targeted for 2030 (80% by 2050), Beissier already boasts that 95% of its volumes are NF Environment certified.

But the manufacturer is going even further; in addition to deploying individual Environmental and Health Data Sheets (FDES) across its entire range of Bagar and Prestonett brands by 2030, Beissier has taken significant action to reduce the amount of plastic in its over-packaging. It has implemented a new process that has resulted in an 80% reduction in plastic consumption across about ten product lines. This complements its commitment to incorporate 50% post-consumer recycled plastic into its packaging by 2030.

Beissier has also invested 375.000 euros in the installation of photovoltaic panels (836 m²).²) on 2 shade structures in its parking lots, for a total power of 223,2 kWp. A 100% self-consumption project which allows it to generate a reduction in consumption equivalent to one and a half months of its annual bill.

It should also be noted that Beissier has installed a rainwater harvesting tank with a capacity of 500 m³³This installation saves approximately 6,000 m³³ of water in its process per year (after treatment by UV lamps and continuous monitoring), equivalent to half of its annual consumption. A further step towards the 75% water self-sufficiency target for 2030.

Beissier has also led initiatives in favor of biodiversity with the implementation of species protection actions for both flora (wild orchids) and fauna (evacuation ramps in water retention basins dedicated to green frogs and installation of swallow nests)…

Working conditions and employee well-being

At its site based in La Chapelle la Reine, which brings together nearly a hundred employees (11 years average seniority), Beissier has notably invested in their well-being by further improving their working conditions.

Thus, Beissier has installed glazed enclosures on these powder dispensing stations (to contain the dispersion of dust, guaranteeing healthier air).

Beissier has also focused on the arduousness of certain positions by, for example, providing its employees with exoskeletons, freeing them from repetitive handling of loads and preventing musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs).

Other concrete actions have also been deployed and have won unanimous support among employees: lecture series on nutrition and sleep, weekly direct sales of baskets from local producers to promote more responsible eating…

Finally, it's worth mentioning that Beissier has embarked on a unifying project, called One, involving all levels of teams and management, centered around new offices and a new organizational structure. All managers, in particular, were able to participate in a 10-month training program to strengthen internal collaboration and rethink working methods.

A local presence, a collective mobilizes

Beyond these internal initiatives, Beissier has set itself the goal of engaging with its local community by leading collective discussions on the future and potential collaborations. This approach has already earned it the 2025 Environmental Transition Prize awarded by the Pays de Fontainebleau Agglomeration Community at the Talents d'Entreprises Competition.

After a first key stage of auditing the territory with an OpenLand study, Beissier became co-founder of the Réseau des Possibles 77[1] with a clear ambition: to make territorial cooperation a strategic lever, by linking existing committed energies and catalyzing a collective dynamic in service of the territory.
