It offers a solution-oriented program, directly addressing the changes in the sector: employment, training, regulatory adaptation, environmental transition, new uses of wood.
The essential event for the industry
In a context of increasing regulatory requirements, energy instability, and generational renewal, wood industry professionals are seeking concrete solutions to improve production, anticipate standards, enhance the value of local resources, and attract new talent. It is within this dynamic that Eurobois has established itself as a leading platform to support industry stakeholders in addressing these challenges.
With over 29.000 trade visitors and more than 520 exhibitors and brands at its last edition in 2024, and very positive momentum for 2026, Eurobois confirms its status as a major event for the timber industry in France. Each year, it brings together all links in the value chain: primary and secondary processing, interior design, timber construction, equipment, materials, tools, and digital solutions.
According to Alexandra Moncorgé, Director of the Eurobois trade fair: “Eurobois 2026 is part of a period of profound transformation for the timber industry. By addressing the challenges of energy transition, innovation, and training, we have designed a program that allows professionals to envision the future of the sector. Each event and conference aims to stimulate exchange, foster collaboration, and concretely prepare timber industry stakeholders for the changes they will face.”
An immersive program to bring woodworking skills to life
The Interior Design Laboratory: design, modularity and new trends
In collaboration with Studio Versavel and French Furniture Suppliers, this display, installed in hall 6 dedicated to layout, showcases innovative solutions around the major challenges of wood design: comfort, personalization, modularity, durability.
The MOB Workshop: full-scale demonstration of timber construction
This space offers an immersive experience within a full-scale timber-frame house panel construction workshop. Demonstrations blend traditional and digital techniques to showcase construction expertise.
The Materials Library: to explore the materials of tomorrow
In collaboration with FORMÆ magazine, the leading publication dedicated to materials, expertise, and innovation in design and architecture, Eurobois 2026 offers an exclusive selection of samples and innovative materials. This curated selection allows visitors to explore emerging trends and ecological, technological, and material developments in the sector.
According to Sébastien MASCHINO, editor-in-chief of FORMÆ: “Through this partnership with Eurobois, FORMÆ reaffirms its commitment to a responsible and creative approach to design, and its role as a liaison between the wood, development, and innovation sectors.”

An immersive experience that provides a concrete understanding of the manufacturing process and familiarizes participants with woodworking techniques. The chairs will then be donated by Eurobois to a public institution in Lyon.
Competitions, sponsorship, commitment: bringing forth the agents of change
The Eurobois Awards, a springboard for innovations in the wood sector
Each year, this competition recognizes the innovations presented by exhibitors. In 2026, fifteen solutions shortlisted by a committee of experts will be presented live at the trade show. These innovations will be judged by a professional jury, a student jury from three different institutions: ENSTIB, ESB, and CREAD, and by the public. The awards ceremony will be presided over by sailor Marc Thiercelin, the patron of this year's event.

generations, in connection with the challenges of recruitment and transmission of know-how.
Among the concrete actions undertaken this year: the launch of the "Prix de l'Avenir" challenge, open to exhibitors at the trade show. Its objective? To encourage philanthropy by rewarding the donor most committed to supporting students. The winner
will be featured prominently during the show.
A space for reflection to decipher the changes in the sector
The Wood Arena: confronting ideas and building together
Conceived as a true living forum for the industry at the heart of the show, the Wood Arena, in partnership with Editions des Halles, Wood Surfer and Bati-Journal, is back at Eurobois 2026 with a renewed program.
Highlights of the 2026 conference program:
- Reuse and recycling of wood: a new strategic resource.
- Safety, quality and prevention: the role of standards in the woodworking industry.
- Design and technology: wood interiors in the digital age.
- Understanding and engaging younger generations with Julien Estier.
Inspiring perspectives to shed light on the challenges of the sector
Because the transition of the wood industry cannot happen without reflection on managerial practices, the attractiveness of jobs or the transformation of uses, Eurobois 2026 invites several personalities to share their vision.
Julien Estier, an expert speaker on intergenerational management, explores new relationships in the workplace. Addressing recruitment challenges, silent disengagement, and the search for meaning, he offers a practical and accessible perspective on the expectations of young talent, team retention, and the necessary evolution of HR practices. This event is organized in partnership with Fibois.
Marc Thiercelin, sailor and entrepreneur, presents his project to build a new generation sailboat, designed with an eco-responsible approach, where wood plays a central role. Through this account, he illustrates the ability of wood to reconcile performance, innovation, and environmental commitment, even in the most technical and demanding environments.
For Marc THIERCELIN: “Building a high-performance boat for the 2028 Vendée Globe, combining natural European wood, bamboo, and hemp fibers with synthetic fibers, is a world first. It's a challenge that fulfills a triple ambition: Recyclability, (industrial) Replicability, and a Generational Project! Eurobois is the ideal place to share this approach and exchange ideas with those shaping the materials of the future.”
