Following the rollback of the VAT exemption for micro-entrepreneurs in the construction industry, while the overhaul of the REP system is at a standstill, and new construction is struggling to restart while waiting for the status of private landlord, the freezing of MaPrimeRénov' represents a breaking point for craftsmen and building contractors.
Meeting at a congress in Blois, the FFB reaffirmed its imperative demand that renovations by gesture(s) be exempt from the freeze announced for the summer.
The 1.500 artisans and entrepreneurs present, from all regions and trades, adopted a resolution stipulating that "without significant, concrete, and rapid progress, within the framework of constructive negotiations, it will engage in grassroots protest actions with its local federations." This decision has already been sent to the government.
For Olivier Salleron, president of the FFB: "Enough is enough! The building is on the street. It is collectively that we will lead the fight for MaPrimeRénov', and it is collectively that we will win."
