The social partners will be consulted Monday on teleworking, to "change the rules from mid-May", the next stage of deconfinement, said Labor Minister Elisabeth Borne on Friday.
"Next Monday, we will talk with employers' organizations and unions about how we can change the rules from mid-May," said Ms. Borne on LCI.
At this deadline, "we will begin to reopen shops, terraces, certain cultural establishments, we will also have to change the rules on teleworking", she underlined, specifying that she "wishes that we can give back helping companies and employees to organize this teleworking ".
At the height of the third wave of Covid-19, the minister however called "to continue teleworking" which "worked very well", according to her.
"In the last ten days, it has really jumped," she said, citing a rate that rose from 65% to 78% among "workers who can easily telework", or "a level higher than what we had had in the second confinement in November ".
A figure taken from a survey commissioned by the Ministry of Labor, the results of which published Wednesday showed a strong increase in teleworking since the closure of schools in early April.
