This strategic relocation, complementing its existing production facilities, provided EDMA with the opportunity to internalize new expertise related to product manufacturing. The company now offers building trades professionals a growing range of hand tools made in France.

With this new milestone, EDMA reaffirms its commitment to innovation and quality. Two years after relocating, the tool manufacturer is proud to announce that its EDMAPLAC drywall lifts are now made in France. The ambition was clear: to design, produce, and assemble the EDMAPLAC drywall lifts—a flagship product for drywall installers—in France, at the new EDMA site, ensuring complete control over the production chain and consistent professional quality.

To achieve this, the processes have been standardized and integrated into a demanding quality control system. Each plate lifter undergoes rigorous testing by specialized teams, guaranteeing optimal reliability.

True to its commitment to sustainable development, this in-house production on a single site directly contributes to EDMA's social and environmental responsibility: reduced transport, better controlled logistics and redesigned packaging, favouring recycled cardboard.

Finally, this complete mastery of manufacturing allows EDMA to gain flexibility, with simplified after-sales service and reduced delivery times, to respond ever more effectively to the expectations of its customers.

This remarkable advance concerns the historical EDMAPLAC models, EDMAPLAC 450 (Ref.: 267355) and EDMAPLAC cable (Ref.: 268655), as well as those to come.
