Edilteco® France expands its product range with Kronos Autoliv, a high-performance fiber-reinforced leveling compound.

Until now, the manufacturer offered a wide range of lightweight screeds and mortars. With this new solution, it now complements its expertise by integrating a complementary solution into its systems. Designed for both new construction and renovation projects, KRONOS AUTOLIV provides a smooth, even surface suitable for laying tiles, parquet flooring, or soft and textile floor coverings in P2 and P3 classified areas.

A fiber-based solution for leveling unevenness

KRONOS AUTOLIV is a self-leveling, fiber-reinforced screed suitable for thicknesses from 1 to 10 mm, specifically designed for EDILTECO® lightweight screeds and mortars (≥ 300 kg/m³). Classified CT-C30-F6 according to EN 13813, it offers high mechanical performance, with a compressive strength of 30 MPa and a flexural strength of 6 MPa.

This solution also stands out for its optimized intervention times, allowing pedestrian traffic in about 4 hours, the laying of tiles or textiles from 24 hours, plastic coverings in 48 hours and glued parquet in 96 hours.

Compatible with many types of floor coverings as well as with thin acoustic systems and water protection, KRONOS AUTOLIV is a technical complement to EDILTECO® flooring systems.

A structured implementation to guarantee performance

The application is carried out in a single pass with a stainless steel trowel, following a precise process that ensures both pore filling and thickness adjustment. This thickness varies depending on the intended use of the premises: from 1 to 10 mm for P2 and from 3 to 10 mm for P3. As with any leveling system, the quality of the application is crucial. Substrates must comply with current standards and receive a suitable bonding primer, such as Edilstik®, applied according to the porosity. Site conditions (temperature, humidity, absence of drafts or direct sunlight) must also be carefully controlled.

With KRONOS AUTOLIV, EDILTECO® France now offers a complete solution, from screed or lightweight mortar to substrate preparation before coating. This approach allows applicators to source from a single supplier, while guaranteeing system compatibility.
