Etex France Building Performance on its way to becoming a Mission-Driven Company

Through its flagship brand Siniat, the company is deploying numerous initiatives aimed at reducing its footprint while contributing to the sustainable transformation of the construction sector.

This momentum will reach a new stage in September 2026 with the adoption of the status of a Purpose-Driven Company. This evolution will notably be reflected in the inclusion in the articles of association of the group's purpose: "Building better together".

Beyond an evolution of governance, this approach aims to sustainably anchor the creation of economic, social and environmental value at the heart of the company's strategy and to formalize commitments already widely deployed on the ground.

An ambition built to last

To support this evolution, Etex France Building Performance has defined three statutory objectives that will guide its actions in the long term. These commitments constitute a framework intended to guide the company's decisions and strengthen its positive impact on all its stakeholders: employees, customers, partners, and local communities.

According to Frédéric Guetin, Director of Etex France BP: “The status of a Purpose-Driven Company is a continuation of what we have built in recent years. It reinforces our purpose and reflects our desire to participate actively and sustainably in a responsible and sustainable construction model. It is an additional, long-term commitment.”

1- Improve the quality of working life with the entire ecosystem

The first objective stated in the statutes is to improve working life together for teams, clients and partners.

In this context, Etex France BP places health and safety, both physical and mental, at the forefront of its priorities. The company also continues its efforts to promote skills development and equal opportunities.

This approach extends beyond its own employees. Etex France BP also works with its clients and partners to contribute to improving working conditions on construction sites, particularly through the development of more ergonomic solutions, such as reducing the weight of plasterboard to facilitate its installation.

2 – Innovate to create sustainable value

The second statutory objective aims to develop solutions that create economic, ecological and societal value for customers and stakeholders.

The company intends in particular to continue reducing its carbon footprint as well as that of its customers, accelerate the development of the circular economy with its entire ecosystem, preserve water resources and offer increasingly efficient and accessible solutions.

This ambition is also accompanied by a commitment to improving comfort and quality of life in buildings, a subject that has become central in the face of current environmental and societal challenges.

3 – Supporting the transformation of the building sector

With its third statutory objective, Etex France BP affirms its desire to be a key partner in the evolution of the construction sector.

The company wishes to actively contribute to the development of more responsible construction methods by promoting renovation, land conservation and the evolution of building design and construction practices.

This approach also relies on strong cooperation with industry stakeholders. Etex France BP intends to co-develop innovative technical solutions with its clients and partners, tailored to the needs of tomorrow's construction sites and reconciling environmental performance with economic viability.

Mobilize the entire sector

The success of this ambition ultimately depends on the company's ability to unite and engage its entire ecosystem around the challenges of transforming the building sector.

Already involved in the Convention of Companies for the Climate (CEC) as part of the Building and Real Estate track, Etex France BP actively participates in discussions and actions aimed at accelerating the sector's transition towards more resilient and sustainable models.

With its transition to the status of a Purpose-Driven Company, the company now intends to make this approach sustainable and to make its purpose a real lever for action to support the transformation of the construction industry.
