The work carried out by the Dumez Île-de-France teams focused on the major restructuring of the 19-storey IGH (High-rise Building) in order to give it a new life in line with new working practices. 21 months of work were necessary for the complete transformation of this building which is intended to accommodate nearly 20.000 m2 of luxury offices.
The architectural ensemble was imagined by Yrieix Martineau Architecture (YMA) with offices organized into floors to allow flexibility of uses. Collaborative and convivial spaces have also been set up. The creation of two atriums on the front, opening up the interior spaces, offers a panoramic view of La Défense. The site includes a fitness center and an inter-company restaurant with more than 600 seats.
The restructuring of KupkA-A has also made it possible to improve its accessibility with the main entrance which now takes the form of a triple-height hall, connected to a new footbridge overlooking the forecourt of La Défense and linked to that of "Couchant ". A garden and a green rooftop, totaling nearly 550 m2 of accessible green spaces, have been set up.
The KupkA-A building aims to obtain Breeam and HQE Excellent environmental certifications. In addition, in order to facilitate connectivity and the quality of professional life for its future occupants, the building wishes to integrate the Well Gold and Wired Score Gold labels.
