Disneyland Paris will open to the public on May 15th, a completely redecorated "World Premiere" building, as part of the massive renovations that will see its second park, Walt Disney Studios, double its size.
In 2018, the American group The Walt Disney Company announced a plan to expand and transform its second Walt Disney Studios theme park, costing "two billion euros for Disneyland Paris," which opened in 1992 in the Paris region.
World Premiere, a space that celebrated the behind-the-scenes making of films, will now "transport visitors to the middle of a Hollywood evening celebrating a film premiere," according to a Euro Disney press release released Saturday.
Walt Disney Studios Park will be renamed Disney Adventure World when a World of Frozen expansion opens in 2026.
"At the end of its expansion project, which includes the opening of Adventure Way, Adventure Bay and World of Frozen in 2026, and later an immersive world inspired by The Lion King, we will have reimagined more than 90% of the park's offerings since its opening in 2002, and almost doubled its surface area, making it absolutely unmissable!" said Natacha Rafalski, president of Disneyland Paris, quoted in the press release.
At the same time, the amusement park is renovating the hotels that welcome travelers inside the park itself.
