Colas' Finnish subsidiary Destia has been awarded nine multi-year regional road maintenance contracts by the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency and the Centres for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment (ELY Centres). Work will begin in October 2025 and continue until 2030. The combined value of these contracts is €112 million.
Destia will provide road maintenance in three new regions of the country, while continuing this activity in six others.
The work involves maintaining asphalt and gravel roads and their surrounding environment, including green spaces, drainage systems, traffic signs, equipment, and structures. In one of Finland's eastern regions, Destia will also be responsible for maintaining an ice road connecting two villages 7 kilometers apart.

Effective road maintenance relies on accurate anticipation of weather and traffic conditions. Currently responsible for 33 of Finland's 79 road maintenance contracts, Destia is the country's leading provider of transport infrastructure maintenance services. Regular road network maintenance improves user safety and avoids the additional costs associated with complete infrastructure repairs.
