Crowdfunding dedicated to renewable energy continues its momentum

• €1.763 billion was raised in 2025, compared to €1.731 billion in 2024, by crowdfunding platforms across all sectors. With a 1,8% increase in funds raised after two years of decline, this return to growth indicates the resilience of the crowdfunding market despite a challenging macroeconomic environment and a persistent crisis in the real estate sector.
• The crowdfunding segment dedicated to renewable energy contributes to overall growth, with 358 million raised in 2025 compared to 352 million in 2024.
• Lendosphere and Lendopolis, platforms owned by Lendocompany, represent 43,3% of the 358 million euros invested in renewable energies in 2025, i.e. 155 million euros.

In a context marked by a stabilization of overall fundraising, crowdfunding dedicated to renewable energies confirms its resilience and controlled growth.

In 2025, 407 projects dedicated to renewable energies were financed, representing an increase of +24% compared to 2024. Lendosphere and Lendopolis together account for 51% of the projects financed in 2025, i.e. 207 projects financed – a record year in terms of projects financed.

According to Laure Verhaeghe, president of Lendocompany: “While the renewable energy sector is showing strong growth in financed projects, with controlled growth in the volumes raised, particular attention must continue to be paid to the soundness of projects in 2026. Selection criteria will need to be even more rigorous to maintain this trajectory and investor confidence. The publication of the Multiannual Energy Programme (PPE3), as well as new calls for tenders, provides greater visibility for the sector and allows us to approach the coming months and years with promising prospects.”

Performance of the renewable energy sector with yields exceeding 7%

In 2025, of the total funds raised in renewable energy, 70% were allocated to solar and 30% to other energy sources, such as wind (8%), biogas (5%), and hydropower. The sector's average gross return increased in 2025, reaching 7,7% (compared to 7,5% in 2024), with a very limited risk. No definitive losses were recorded, and delays of less than six months remained limited to less than 2% of projects.

The risk/return profile thus appears attractive to investors interested in this market segment. Lendosphere and Lendopolis are part of this trend, with no defaults to date, for maturities between 3 and 5 years. These figures confirm their central role in democratizing investments in renewable energy.

Radioscopy of the platforms

A quarter of the platforms have begun their Europeanization: Lendocompany is one of them with operations carried out for renewable energy projects located in Spain, Portugal, Greece and Italy.

Lendocompany is also among the top 5 platforms, which represent more than 100 million euros in annual collection and almost half of the total collection (44,6%), and among the 55% of platforms that are financially balanced.
