Crédit Agricole takes a stake in CCB Greentech, a pioneering French start-up in wood concrete

Crédit Agricole and CCB Greentech, inventor of the TimberRoc® wood concrete technology, announce their capital and commercial merger to develop this constructive solution, labeled "Biosourced Product" (more than 80% wood by volume), with a negative carbon footprint.

Offering strong technical qualities such as distributed thermal resistance, fire resistance, significant thermal phase shift or remarkable sound absorption, the technology developed by CCB Greentech is based on 15 years of research and development and on 10 patents.

It allows the factory prefabrication of floors or walls - load-bearing or non-load-bearing - in wood concrete, simple and quick to implement on site. The majority of the construction principles developed are now under ATEx case A, issued by the CSTB, and allow the construction of any type of building up to R+10.

Thus, building today with TimberRoc® wood concrete technology - whose aggregates come mainly from PEFC-certified French loggers - perfectly meets current environmental challenges, regulatory changes such as RE2020 and the expectations of the construction market.

A partnership to advance low-carbon construction

Crédit Agricole Alpes Développement: an investment capital structure common to the two Regional Banks of Savoie and Sud Rhône Alpes, has chosen to work alongside CCB Greentech in order to accelerate the development and marketing of constructive solutions based on wood concrete.
