Colas signs an agreement to acquire Suit-Kote Corporation, a specialist in road solutions in the United States

Suit-Kote specializes in the distribution of liquid asphalt, the manufacture of emulsion blends, as well as pavement construction and preservation services in several states in the northeastern United States. With more than 750 employees, Suit-Kote generates annual revenues of approximately US$500 million.

This acquisition is part of Colas' strategy to pursue its international development in targeted geographies (Northern Europe, United States, Germany, Australia). It strengthens Colas' industrial positions in this high-potential country. In particular, it will enable the Colas Group to develop its business in the bitumen distribution market in the northeastern United States.

The transaction is expected to close by the end of September 2025 and is subject to customary closing conditions, including the expiry of the regulatory deadline under US antitrust legislation (Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act).

Established in North America for over 60 years, Colas employs 13.500 people there and will generate 28% of its revenue there by the end of 2024, making it the Group's second largest market after France.
