A new generation wastewater evacuation system

Fifty years ago, Nicoll invented a unique system for unitary and acoustic wastewater drainage. This multi-award-winning innovation (Silver Decibel 50, Reddot Award 2014, Bronze Inovyn Award 2015, etc.) has since established itself as the market benchmark, allowing wastewater and black water to be evacuated from several sanitary facilities in a single chute. The benefit: space savings in service ducts, time savings for installers, and a reduced environmental impact. To meet the technical, regulatory, and structural developments in residential buildings, NICOLL is now reinventing this iconic range and launching CHUTUNIC® EVO.

This complete system combines a tube with helical ribs on its internal wall and a limited range of compact and versatile breeches (less than 30 references) adapted to all construction site configurations.

Optimal acoustic efficiency and hydraulic performance

Featuring a design designed to simplify network design and improve flow, the CHUTUNIC® EVO range meets the needs in terms of acoustic efficiency and hydraulic performance. The use of denser PVC and this new design also provide better attenuation of flow and impact noise. Under Technical Approval (ATec), the complete system is also tested to guarantee the absence of backflow, a phenomenon responsible for these noises and odors rising. The tests were carried out at scale 1 in a 73 m high tower (27 floors), Aliaxis' test and research center, located in Northampton, England, thus making it possible to simulate wastewater falls according to different configurations of medium and high height. The tests carried out in real conditions highlighted hydraulic performances increased by 65%.

CHUTUNIC® EVO is a compact system that integrates easily and quickly into complex and increasingly compact technical spaces. In addition, to enhance simplicity and versatility, the range includes fewer than 30 references of tubes, breeches, and accessories, allowing it to meet all construction site configurations.

Made in France at the Cholet site (49), the CHUTUNIC® EVO range incorporates 20% recycled PVC of external origin and benefits from an FDES. It is packaged in recycled cardboard boxes without individual packaging.
