Cecil Professionnel expands its color range with its new line of machine-tintable whites.

Present in over 180 partner building material suppliers, the "Atelier Couleurs" concepts provide customized decorative solutions for interior and exterior projects, with over 40.000 colors (RAL, NCS, etc.) in matte, satin, and velvet finishes, available in containers from 0,5 L to 15 L. Tinting machines are a real added value for distribution partners!

To adapt to market trends and remain consistent with its core product range, Cecil Professionnel is launching new interior primers and finishes in its Whites range – Standard Construction (IP 35/PE 35) and High-Quality Construction (IP 55/PE 55) – as tintable bases. Cecil Professionnel's tintable undercoats make it easier to achieve the correct color intensity, especially for very dark shades. As for the tintable Whites paints, they offer a wide range of customizable colors (from light to vibrant) thanks to their pastel, transparent, and medium bases. Designed to meet professional paint standards, they offer high performance in terms of opacity, washability, and durability.

Tintable undercoat IP 35

Water-based and ideal for walls and ceilings, Cecil Professional IP 35 tintable primer can be applied directly or tinted to create lighter shades. Its matte finish and excellent coverage conceal imperfections and joints on plasterboard. It optimizes the effectiveness of finishes by sealing new or slightly damaged surfaces. Its enhanced opacity covers old paint, even bright colors.

New tintable base PE 35 PAINT

Designed for use on new concrete and concrete-based walls and ceilings, plaster, plasterboard, and previously painted surfaces, Cecil Professionnel PE 35 tinting base can be applied to both dry and damp rooms, on walls and ceilings. Its acrylic formula offers optimal ease of application. Its high opacity and excellent filling power provide a smooth, even finish and ensure long-lasting color. Washable and stain-resistant, it is easy to maintain. Available in pastel, medium, and transparent shades, it allows for the creation of light, deep, or very deep/intense colors in all matte, satin, and velvet finishes.

Tintable undercoat IP 55

Universally applicable, Cecil Professionnel IP 55 tintable primer adheres to all surfaces: plaster, concrete, cement, brick, fiberglass, wood and wood-based materials, metal, and old paintwork. Its water-based formula, composed of acrylic and alkyd emulsion, offers excellent coverage. Its enhanced opacity masks imperfections and minimizes stains. It evens out surfaces, seals porous substrates, and fixes powdery surfaces. Easy to apply, it dries quickly. This primer can also be tinted in a tinting machine to create lighter shades.

New PE 55 paint tinting base

With high coverage and filling power, from the first coat, the PE 55 Cecil Professional tinting base is suitable for walls, ceilings and woodwork, on many substrates: concrete, plaster, plasterboard, old paint, cement, fiberglass, metal, wood… Its excellent opacity offers a perfect smooth finish for a neat, streak-free finish that resists the passage of time.

PE 55 satin and velvet finishes are formulated with acrylic resin. They offer a protective barrier against various stains, impacts, and friction. Highly washable, they are easy to maintain and ideal for damp or high-traffic areas (hallways, staircases, living rooms, etc.).

As for the matte finish, its acrylic and alkyd emulsion formula provides high washability and excellent resistance to burnishing. With no visible brush marks, it is perfectly suited for large surfaces and ceilings.

PE 55 is available in pastel, medium and transparent tintable base and allows for the creation of light, strong or very strong/intense shades on all matte, satin and velvet finishes.

Expert workshop: A high-performance machine for intensive use

High-performing, this fully equipped machine achieves precise dosing for perfect color accuracy.

• With its simultaneous dosing of colorants, the tinting of a 10-litre format is ensured in 20 seconds.
• It can hold up to 32 liters of dyes to produce the equivalent of 500 shades without refilling the machine.
• The workshop comes with 4 physical color charts which include more than 3,500 applied colors, interior (1120), exterior (440 colors), RAL (150 colors) and NCS (1950).
• The database includes all Cecil Professional color charts, color references (RAL, NCS), and the main color charts used in the professional network. In total, there are over 40,000 available colors, which are updated annually through regular software updates.
• The software's ergonomics allow for intuitive use, and a customer file allows salespeople to keep a history of each shade.

Essential workshop: Remote tinting service, unique on the market

Compact and equipped with intuitive order-taking software, the Essential Workshop is a unique remote tinting concept on the market.

With a footprint of just 1 m² ^, it allows small retailers to offer custom-colored paints without stock, base, or colorants. Customers choose their color in-store using an intuitive app, then the salesperson places the order on the tablet, and the product is delivered to the store within 48-72 hours.

To help the customer in their choice, this concept features a color wall with 150 free self-service samples.
