CSTB and Wimi join forces to create the Kroqi SAS joint venture

KROQI: the leading collaborative platform for construction industry players

KROQI is a collaborative digital service offering initially launched by the CSTB in 2018, in partnership with WIMI (Cloud Solutions SAS) and with the support of the Ministry of Ecological Transition as part of the Digital Transition Plan in Buildings (PTNB) and then the BIM 2022 plan.

Construction professionals choose KROQI to manage their construction projects, in an environment compatible with the use of BIM and digital models.

Since 2018, more than 8.000 industry players (architects, engineering firms, project owners, project managers, etc.) representing more than 50.000 projects and 180.000 construction professionals have used KROQI.

The KROQI offer integrates several components from the two co-founders: the WIMI collaborative platform, consisting of a complete software suite and a secure physical infrastructure, a series of specialized business software from CSTB R&D, and external third-party services selected from among the best players on the market. KROQI is accessible on the website www.kroqi.fr, and marketed through subscription mechanisms.

The joint venture - KROQI SAS: promoting an efficient and sustainable digital transition for the entire sector

CSTB and WIMI share an ambitious vision for KROQI: supporting building and construction professionals in all stages of a building's life, design, construction, operation and maintenance.

In order to accelerate the development of the platform, the two co-founders decided to join forces through a strategic partnership, materialized by the creation of a joint venture: KROQI SAS.

The KROQI SAS joint venture, founded in September 2024, is 51% owned by CSTB and 49% by WIMI. The co-founders are pooling their assets, vision and know-how to accelerate the development of KROQI and become the leading platform in France and Europe.

KROQI SAS has joint governance between the co-founders. The directors of the KROQI company are Souheil SOUBRA (President), appointed by the CSTB, and Timothée DEMOURES (General Manager), appointed by WIMI.

The KROQI offer will benefit from WIMI's investments in R&D for the extension of collaborative services and digital security. Commercial operation will continue to be ensured by WIMI, and the CSTB will continue its pioneering role in R&D and the evolution of the building trades.
